The FCCI president said that exporters were facing difficulties in receiving their genuine refund claims within the agreed period of 72 hours. While welcoming the effort of establishing the help desks in RTOs, the FCCI official explained that delays in refund payments caused the exporters’ finances to shrink. He added that this led to reduced economic and export activities from their side – frustrating the government’s efforts for bridging the gap between imports and exports.
