Lahore: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday (December 01) announced an increase in the immovable property valuation rates in Lahore, news sources reported. The reform is part of the FBR’s latest effort to enhance tax collections for both the provincial and federal governments.

According to the details, the FBR has raised the rates in 40 cities by 100% to 600%, depending on the property location and type. The modifications will have an impact on apartment buildings, flats, commercial units, and housing schemes.
