FBR Member Inland Revenue Policy Hamid Atiq expressed his views on the matter during a briefing to the Senate Standing Committee on Finance at the Parliament House on Thursday.
He said that the federal institution has decided to provide the persons concerned online access to their assets and accounts’ details. The data compiled by the FBR has all the details with regard to the accounts and assets held by non-filers.
For accessing the information on the board’s website, the individuals concerned will have to provide their computerised national identity card (CNIC) details.
