Karachi: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has instructed all institutes under it to start proceedings for the recovery of its PKR 200 billion in taxes stuck in court cases, according to a news report. A huge revamp is taking place in FBR after the new FBR Chairman took over.
The top brass of FBR has been informed that a total of 385 billion revenue of FBR in the form of taxes is stuck in cases before various tribunals and courts. This has resulted in huge losses to national exchequer.
