Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) exceeded its July 2024 revenue target, collecting PKR 659.2 billion, above the PKR 656 billion goal, even after issuing PKR 77.9 billion in refunds. The news has been sourced from an article on August 13.
According to the details, this early achievement supports FBR’s ambitious aim to reach a PKR 12.97 trillion collection target for the 2024-25 fiscal year. During a briefing, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and other officials discussed the FBR’s plans for digitisation and revenue collection.
