Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has resolved around 6,000 complaints that were registered on the Pakistan Citizens Portal, a news source reported. In total, there have been 6,864 complaints registered from October 28, 2018 to date related to various departments of the FBR.

An official of FBR stated that out of the remaining 864 complaints, 650 are newly registered, and 214 are under process. He also revealed that out of the total number of complaints, 714 and 1,300 of them were pertaining to policy and customs issues, respectively.
The official said that the FBR has shown positive performance in terms of actively resolving the complaints. He added that the authority is committed to facilitating the people and working in the interest of the country.

The incumbent government had launched the Pakistan Citizens Portal in October last year. Both resident and overseas Pakistanis can register complains and leave suggestions for government departments. People register their complaints on the portal’s mobile application.
