As per a previous FBR statement, citizens won’t be able to avail the amnesty scheme after June 30. The purpose of the facility is to allow people to declare their undisclosed assets and income.
The federal institution also said that it recently obtained the data of industrial and commercial gas electricity consumers from distribution companies. These individuals have yet to pay their dues, it added.
FBR is also working with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to provide confidential access to the people for the transactions undertaken in the past. It will also be available through secure channels from NADRA on demand, subject to a certain fee, to the persons concerned.
