Lahore: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has revealed that the number of people who have applied for the amnesty scheme has risen up to 5,000 – a news source reported.

The board has also made it mandatory for owners of prize bonds to get their financial instruments worth PKR 40,000 registered. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will soon issue a notification to this effect.
As per reports, the registration of bonds will help increase the number of applications for amnesty scheme.
Moreover, the federal institution has also obtained the data of some four million people, who have bought luxury cars or airline tickets. It will complete the data-acquisition process by June 15.

It was also announced that anyone can obtain their financial data available with the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) after paying a fee of PKR 500.
