The FBR’s forthcoming activation of district taxation officers is anticipated to herald a notable transformation, as it aims to facilitate the physical presence of the FBR within local districts. This, in turn, will facilitate the identification of new taxpayers, the registration of their profiles, and the enhancement of tax collection in regions that have hitherto been under-reported. Furthermore, it is poised to substantially improve overall tax compliance.
