As per details, the FBR will convene an emergency meeting with mobile operators to ensure compliance with the deadline, warning of legal repercussions for non-compliance. SIM cards of non-filers will remain blocked until reinstated by the FBR or the relevant tax authority. Both the PTA and telecom operators are instructed to ensure immediate compliance with the FBR’s directive, with a compliance report due by May 15.
