The FBR emphasises the importance of proper jurisdiction exercised by Zonal Commissioners regarding taxpayers, ensuring all notices are duly served as per the Sales Tax Act, 1990 or the Federal Excise Act, 2005. Moreover, recovery measures will only be initiated after providing taxpayers with sufficient opportunity to be heard.
