Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) launched an application whereby taxpayers can be enabled to prepare their Income Tax Returns and Wealth Statements, as per a news report. These statements can be filed even without internet, which has been introduced to cater to connectivity issues.
This is possible through an application, called Iris-ADX which has been prepared and launched by the Information Technology (IT) Wing of the FR. The app allows the taxpayer to prepare date related to income tax return, which previously only allowed for preparation of data related to Sales Tax returns including sales invoices, debit/credit notes and sales tax withholding only, in offline mode.
