Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued draft forms for filing income tax returns for the year 2019, a news source reported. The taxation authority has issued the draft form to facilitate individual taxpayers, association of persons, salaried class and other taxpayers.

According to SRO No 951(1)/2019, the salaried class is required to share details of their income earned through regular salaries in tax 2019, as well as income earned from other sources. The said provision also makes it mandatory for the salaried class to give complete details of their expenditures.

Furthermore, they are required to share details on profit earned from other schemes; including Behbood saving certificates, similar companies and associations of persons (AOPs).

This is in addition to the requirement concerning the asset reconciliation submissions. As per officials, the FBR will include this information in their asset declarations.
