The said facility hosts the data of 53 million citizens – providing non-filers and filers with access to the information about their assets and accounts. It was established with an aim to publicise the information already available with the FBR.
Zaidi said that the second edition had only enriched the data available with the taxation authority. He also urged the people to utilise the service for their tax return submissions ahead of the September 30 deadline.

Previously, the FBR had developed the portal in collaboration with the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA). This facility contains a trove of information on taxation; including the relevant laws, regulations, as well as details of the notices issued by the FBR. It is available on the websites of both the authorities.
