Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced an extension for the payment and submission deadlines of Sales Tax and Federal Excise Duty (FED) returns for the tax period of May 2024. The news has been sourced on June 17.
According to the details, the FBR issued instructions to its field formations on Saturday, detailing the new deadlines. The payment deadline for Sales Tax and FED, originally set for June 15, 2024, has been extended to June 20, 2024.
The submission deadline for Sales Tax and FED returns, originally set for June 18, 2024, has been extended to June 24, 2024. These extensions are due to the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
