Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns to November 30, reported a news source. The initially announced deadline was August 31, which was extended by one month to September 30.
The new deadline for filing income tax returns for the year 2017-18 is now November 30. The extension is for all individuals, companies, business and corporates. The taxpayers can now file their income tax returns by the announced deadline without having to pay any surcharge for it.
Several business entities and representatives of related organisations had requested the FBR to extend the deadline.
