Timergara: The agricultural exchange department arranged a training workshop in Khanpur Adenzai for local farmers, where they had the opportunity to learn modern techniques involved in the gardening of olive trees, grafting of wild olives, and methods of increasing wheat yield, according to a news source. As per the publication, district agriculture director Murad Ali was the chief guest on the occasion.

Numerous farmers from the area attended this workshop and learned modern agricultural techniques which would benefit them for ages to come. At the workshop, Murad Ali, Sajjad Khan, Faseehud Din, and others taught farmers how to graft olive trees and also briefed them about modern techniques for olive farming. The officials encouraged these farmers to adopt these techniques, so that their yields could improve.

Speaking at the occasion, Ali said that his department was taking every possible step to promote agriculture in the district, and help farmers increase their productivity. He added that due to the abundance of wild olive trees in the area, grafting is a highly useful method for these farmers to adopt.
