Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) is expected to operationalise its one-window counter facility today (Friday) – while observing all precautionary measures as per government directives – to facilitate clients amid the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown, a news source reported.

FDA Director-General (DG) Muhammad Suhail Khawaja informed this during a review meeting held to make essential arrangements for the efficient functionality of the one-window counter. FDA Additional Director-General (ADG) Amer Aziz, Chief Engineer Shahid Mehmood, Director of Estate Management Anam Sajjid Malik and other senior officers also attended the meeting.

As per the reports, it was decided that the one-window counter would remain functional between 10 AM and 2 PM on weekdays, and 10 AM and 12 PM on Fridays. The counter will deal with specific issues pertaining to the sections of Estate Management, Town Planning, Transfer and Recovery of properties. It was informed in the meeting that the applicants should wear masks during their visits and sanitizers would be available for disinfecting their hands.

Furthermore, the FDA DG said that the applicants would need to make advance appointments through by calling on the following number: 041-9201515, and the computer section phone number, 041-9200978, for their concerns.
