Faisalabad: Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali has instructed the Faisalabad Development Authority to speed up the pace of development work to complete the construction of the Kashmir Underpass on Canal Expressway, a news source reported. The commissioner issued these directives during his visit to the project site to inspect ongoing developmental work.
Speaking at the occasion, the commissioner said the project is of huge importance in terms of traffic flow and the city’s overall uplift. He inspected the project site thoroughly and asked the FDA to share details on any issues that created hurdles in its development.
He also instructed the traffic police to keep alternate tracks clear for smooth traffic flow. FDA officials briefed the commissioner on the progress of the project, and said that it would be thoroughly inspected to ensure its timely completion.
Commissioner Ali also received applications from citizens regarding various civic issues, and instructed his staff to address their problems concerning cleanliness, sewerage blockage and encroachment on a priority basis.
