Lahore: Punjab Environment Department (PED) has taken strict action against factories creating pollution and sealed three of them, reported a news source. These factories were located in different parts of the city.
Action has been taken on instructions of PED Secretary Zafar Nasarullah and Director General Syeda Maika. The PED is not willing to let these factories emitting pollution to let harm lives of the residents.
According to PED Deputy Director Misbab-ul-Haq Lodhi, the sealed factories were located on Mominpura Road, Ring Road, and Lakhodair Road.
