Lahore: Punjab Environment Protection Authority (EPA) sealed six factories on accounts of causing pollution, reported a news source. The decision was taken to control the impact of smog in the province.
To further tackle the possible smog triggers, the department has a strategy in place to deal with factories causing air pollution. Under the first phase of this operation, the EPA team sealed six factories in Shalimar Zone. Some of these sealed factories include Rehman Steel, Usman Aluminum, and Yousaf Steel.
