Lahore: Lahore Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Almas Haider has requested the government to facilitate property registration for the business community through modern technology and one-window system, a news source reported.
LCCI President said that property registration is a big problem for business community and a lot of time and money is spent on it. He emphasised the need for improvement on ease of business indicators for Pakistan to achieve a good position in business internationally. He also suggested that a data bank of all property related matters should be created, which should be available online.
Previously, participants of a convention at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) stressed the need for the government to improve the taxation system by making it simple and business-friendly.
The participants of the convention also emphasised the need for reformation of the taxation system based on ground realities and stressed the need for consultation with the relevant stakeholders. Only such policies and reforms will bring the desired results.
