Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed on Saturday (November 07) directed authorities concerned to convert the abandoned building dedicated for a restaurant in F-9 Park to be transformed into a history museum, news sources reported. The non-functional restaurant spans over an area of 30,00 sq ft will be used as a tourist attraction site with wall hangings and paintings related to the capital city monuments and history.

As per the details, on a visit to various parts of the city the chairman directed the administration to restore the lights in the F-9 park, as people visit it after sunset. He also directed the Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI) to restore and complete the renovation process of the gym located between G-11 and F-11 in two days and operationalize the facility. Furthermore, the chairman reviewed the progress of carpeting and road rehabilitation and asked that the work be expedited and enhance the quality of work.

He said that the work on roads of F-11 and G-11 is to be completed with care and no compromise on the quality of work will be tolerated.
