It is worth noting that the government has launched an FBR-backed amnesty plan for the real estate industry in 2021. The scheme’s principal goal was to stimulate additional growth and development of the sector. The FBR devised a formula to exempt investors from the obligation to declare their assets and sources of income if they participate in FBR-registered projects. This resulted in a massive infusion of capital, which also resulted in a high employment level.

In a press conference held in the capital, Rana also stated that a lot of products we consume in Pakistan are produced indigenously as well yet still those products are imported. This adds to the import bill for the government. He said the government must ban the import of such products whose alternative is already present in the country. He said that this will promote local industry and also will add value to their products. He also stated that measures to discourage imports should be included in the budget for the next fiscal year.
