Islamabad: The exports of leather products have increased by 8% during the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2017-2018, according to a news report. During fiscal year 2017-2018, Pakistan exported USD 478.857 million worth of leather products, against imports amounting to USD 443.430 million, which is an increase of 8%.
The leather products’ exports in May were recorded at USD 43.487 million, whereas during May 2017 these were USD 36.059 million. The exports of leather garments have increased by 15.10% during May 2018 as compared to a decrease of 31.67% during May 2017.
