Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a ‘golden opportunity’ for the expats to invest in residential plots of various sizes in the authority’s C-series Sectors, according to an advert published in national dailies on May 17.

Overseas Pakistanis, who are interested in owning a residential plot in Islamabad, should log on to the ‘Online Application Forms Window’ to register from May 23. It was highlighted that the plots are located in C-series Sector, in a serene environment with abundant green spaces and offer easy access to urban conveniences. The computerised balloting for these plots will be held on June 20.
Special incentives for Overseas Pakistanis:
As per the advert, following are the ‘special incentives’ for expats investing in these plots:
• Completely online process
• Payments are to be made in USD through the banking channel
• One person can file multiple applications
• Connected to Kashmir Highway, close to GT Road and Motorway
• Rebate of 10% on full payment made within 30 days on the issuance of the provisional offer letter
• Layout plan approved and available on the CDA website

• Assurance of on-time delivery
• Seamless property transfer facility available at CDA Facilitation Center
• Facility of transfer is available after depositing an initial 25% down payment. Payments are to be made as per timelines and conditions mentioned in the brochure
• Due to enhanced connectivity and quick sector development, plots that have been allotted in C Sectors on a Land Sharing basis are currently being sold and bought at a premium price
Eligibility criteria for applying for CDA C-Series Sectors
• Only expats holding valid Pakistan Origin Card/NICO and dual nationality holder Pakistanis can apply
• A registration fee of USD 200 is charged for each application.

I saw the advertisement, but where is the online process afterward? It lloks like CDA has not progressed any further after it advertised about that in paper.
