Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has instructed the authorities concerned to ensure that development work on expansion of the road connecting Thokar Niaz Baig with Hudiara drain is carried out 24 hours a day, according to a news source. He was addressing the high level meeting through a video link.
This project will ease up the traffic coming to Lahore from Multan and other cities, and fix commute issues for the public. During the meeting, the CM was briefed about the project by the Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA).
The meeting was attended by Member National Assembly Afzal Khokar, Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Malik Nadeem Kamran, Chairman NHA, Chairman Department of Planning and Development, and Secretary Construction and Transportation.
