Rawalpindi: For the expansion of Fawara Chowk Parking Plaza to accommodate 375 more cars, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has sent a proposal for approval to the Government of Punjab, reported a news source. Once completed, the plaza will have parking space for 625 cars and 400 motorbikes.
To complete construction of the third and fourth floors of the parking facility at a cost of PKR 231.554 million, the project has been made part of the annual development programme.
The plaza was constructed 10 years ago, but was left incomplete with work done only on the basement, ground floor, and first floor.
