Islamabad: The residents of kachi abadis (shantytowns) who were forced to leave various sectors of Islamabad have now found their way to the partially developed Sector I-14.
“A large number of people are moving into the sparsely populated Sector I-14 and illegal constructions are on the rise in the area,” a Sector I-14 resident told a news agency.
The residents also complained about the absence of streetlights, the poor condition of roads, agricultural activity on residential estate, and increasing crime in the area.
