Lahore: The Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued an invitation to the public, stakeholders, and those affected by the Lahore Master Plan 2050 to submit their reservations for the final Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), the announcement was made in a leading newspaper.

In addition to the submission of reservations and suggestions, the EPA has also encouraged members of the public to attend the open discussion and provide their views on the Lahore Master Plan 2050. The discussion will provide an opportunity for members of the public to provide their valuable input on the plan and to share their experiences with the EPA and other stakeholders. This open discussion will be a key factor in helping the EPA shape the Lahore Master Plan 2050 to best serve the people of Punjab.
The Lahore Master Plan 2050 has already been approved by the government of Punjab and has been given an implementation mandate. The aim of the plan is to make Lahore more sustainable and resilient, as well as to address the challenges posed by the city’s growing population.

Some of the key elements of the plan include the creation of more green spaces, the promotion of vertical development, the protection of historical and cultural heritage buildings, the prevention of unauthorized housing developments, and the provision of public welfare infrastructure.
