Lahore: The Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced that it will hold public hearing to entertain objections and suggestions regarding the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project (RRUDP) and the LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments project, a news source reported on February 2.
The hearing will also involve a review of the environmental impact assessment reports submitted by the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) for their RRUDP and Naya Pakistan Apartment projects. The public hearings have been scheduled for February 21 and 22 respectively.
The hearing for RRUDP will take place at Bangla Babakwal, Rest House, Irrigation Department, near Kala Khatai Road, Tehsil Ferozewala (Sheikhupura). A large number of landowners are expected to attend the meeting.
