FIA presented the NEPSAK report in the court hearing today. The report stated that the land sold to EOBI by DHA rose up to an increase of Rs 2.27 billion in just six months. FIA on the instructions of Supreme Court deployed a team by NESPAK who went through all records and property transactions. The court also went through the case of free land spread over 2,412 Kanal , donated to DHA by CDA and asked for complete documentation on the said transaction.
The jury was told that EOBI’s legal adviser quoted on state television that the land bought form DHA by EOBI didn’t come under the PEPRA legislation. The court asked for the script and recording of that program as well. The frozen accounts of DHA and EDEN Garden were released for a short period so that employees could be paid their salaries before EID.
