Faisalabad: To get rid of encroachments in the main commercial areas of the city, Faisalabad Mayor Razzaq Malik has appointed an encroachment inspector, reported a news source. According to Malik’s orders, eight inspectors will work against the encroachment activities at eight Bazars set up around Ghanta Ghar and one at Regal Road.
The bazars that will have separate encroachment officers include Jhang Bazar, Rail Bazar, Kachehri Bazar, Montgomery Bazar, Aminpur Bazar, Bhuwana Bazar, Chiniot Bazar and Karkhana Bazar. The inspectors appointed in these bazars have been instructed to remain on duty between 12 pm till 8 pm daily. The mayor has also instructed the encroachment inspectors to submit a daily report on situation of encroachment activities in the above-mentioned areas.
