Peshawar: Chinese Embassy’s Director General of Press and Media Bao Zhang on Wednesday lauded the completion of 11 CPEC projects in five years, a news sources reported. She expressed her views on the matter during a visit to the Chinese Study Centre at the University of Peshawar.

She expressed the hope that the remaining 11 projects being developed would reach completion soon. She referred to Pakistan and China as ‘iron brothers’. China is helping alleviate several of Pakistan’s problems including those related to energy and foreign exchange reserves, she further sated.
The director general said that bilateral ties had grown much stronger ever since the Chinese premier’s visit to Pakistan back in 2015. She pointed out that an increasing number of Chinese tourists visited Pakistan but they lacked the proper information about the Islamic values of the country, the local foods, and hotels.

She urged academics to involve the Chinese embassy’s commercial, political, and cultural departments in order to provide this information to the foreign tourists. Moreover, she asked the university management to facilitate the Chinese investors in the provision of information regarding Pakistan’s business regulations.
