Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to begin operating electric buses on the first two routes of the Islamabad Bus Service Project next week, as reported on June 10.

According to the details, these 30 electric buses will initially run on two routes. The first route, from NUST’s Orange Line Depot in G-11 to PIMS Hospital, will have 13 stops with a bus arriving every ten minutes. The second route will run from PIMS to Bari Imam. The bus service will operate daily from 6 AM to 10 PM. On Friday morning, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, along with other CDA officers, visited the electric bus charging point at the Jinnah Convention Center to inspect the facilities.
