Think you’ll have to travel all the way to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower? Well, it turns out that the Eiffel (or an Eiffel) has come to Mandi Bahauddin! Surprised? So are the residents of the small city who have never seen such a housing society before, at least in their own city. The developer of Eiffel Town is all set to raise the bar in the area with this new housing scheme, due to be launched shortly.
Located near Ghega Chowk, Eiffel Town is within reach of the main city and promises to deliver facilities which have not been seen in the area before. Offering 5-marla, 10-marla, 1-kanal, and 2-kanal plots, the society is all set to begin registration within a few days.
Along with the usual promises of an aesthetic community gate, at least 30-foot wide roads, round-the clock security and CCTV surveillance, state-of-the-art masjids, schools, and hospitals, the list of features also contains unique offerings that aren’t found in the average housing society. The developer, Eiffel Town Pvt Ltd, has promised underground electricity and gas facilities, and also an uninterrupted supply of electricity, surely a novelty for the people of Mandi Bahauddin.
And the surprises do not stop there! The society plans to introduce a 5-D cinema, which is to be seen in Pakistan for the very first time. You’d think that such a thing would be introduced in larger cities first, but Eiffel Town aims to make Mandi Bahauddin a pioneer in this manner.
Last but not the least, remaining true to its name, the housing scheme plans to feature a replica of the famous Eiffel Tower. Spread over 4 acres and 84 metres high, the replica will provide all the facilities that the original wonder of the world provides. The first and second floor of the tower will contain cafes and sitting areas for approximately 50 people and the top floor will provide a view of the city’s skyline, with standing room for approximately 15 people.
Interested in investing?
The developer is particularly excited about attracting investment from other cities such as Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, and even some investors from Lahore. The groundbreaking ceremony is due to take place within 10-15 days and possession is promised after the payment of six instalments, likely to span a period of 15-18 months.
Rates, as of now, are rather economical. Take a look at the table below:
Plot Size | Current Rates |
5 Marla | PKR 1,800,000 |
10 Marla | PKR 3,400,000 |
1 Kanal | PKR 6,450,000 |
2 Kanal | PKR 11,950,000 |
Note: The full payment of the plot is divided into a 3-year instalment plan consisting of 12 equal quarterly instalments
The catch? Well, there is none, but development in the housing society is only 10% complete as of now. Only some roads have been constructed and the land has been cut into the required plot areas. Currently, it is difficult to anticipate what the housing scheme will look like upon completion.
According to the developer, construction work of the first phase will be finished within the next 9-10 months. The first phase includes amenities such as dancing fountains and the 5-D cinema. The Eiffel Tower replica will be constructed later.
The developer has stated that prospects for the housing scheme look promising. Yet, only time will tell if the promises made are kept. Dwindling quality, scandals, and delays often reduce investor interest. Let’s hope this isn’t the case with Eiffel Town! Hopefully, this society will not only win the hearts of people in Mandi Bahauddin, but all over Pakistan.
