Islamabad – Riphah International University (RIU) and a Singaporean company signed an agreement for designing a new campus of university.
To accommodate about 10,000 students, the new campus will be built on an area of 1.2 million square feet. The construction will include a 600-bed hospital, a dental college, a medical college and almost 70 departments of 7 faculties.
It will be a modern ‘Education City’ with amenities that include a swimming pool, sports grounds, a gymnasium, an NGO resource centre and a community development centre.
The master plan has been designed by a consortium of four foreign and Pakistani companies. The construction will start next year in April and is expected to complete within two years.
