Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has approved a technical supplementary grant of PKR 1 billion for the rehabilitation of roads in the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) area in Karachi, according to a news published in the leading newspaper on February 3.

As per the details, the ECC granted the proposal moved by the Finance Division. The Finance Division stated the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved the rehabilitation and construction of roads in the SITE project, at the cost of PKR 3,000 million; which will be funded by the federal government.

The news source disclosed that the Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (PD&SI) Division has allotted the required funds to the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2022-2023. The division has released PKR 1 billion for Finance Division to acquire Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG).
