Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved various technical supplemental grants for the execution of development schemes related to housing and works in different parts of the country, news sources reported on March 2.

The ECC has mandated the Ministry of Housing and Works to oversee the execution of these schemes and ensure that they are completed within the stipulated timelines and budgets. The grants for the following projects are approved for completion:
- PKR 200 million has been allocated to the Ministry of Housing and Works for the development of the road from Lalmosa to Noona Wali Bhago and Malwana, with link infrastructure Tehsil Kharian
- PKR 429.436 million has been approved for development schemes in district Kasur, under the Ministry of Housing and Works
- PKR 702.9 million has been granted for the execution of schemes in Punjab province under the sustainable development goals achievement program by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives

- PKR 12 million has been granted to the Ministry of Interior for the National Program for Improvement of Watercourses Phase-II in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
- PKR 20 million has been granted to the Ministry of Interior for the National Program for enhancement command areas in Barani areas of ICT
- The Ministry of Interior has been granted PKR 1112.04 million for the project implementation letter of HQ FC (South) & HQ FC (North) KP fund
