Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, has approved multiple economic measures, including export exemptions and financial grants for key sectors.
One of the major approvals includes an exemption for the export of potassium sulfate fertilizer from the Gwadar Free Zone. M/s Agven Private Limited has been granted permission to export up to 10,000 tons annually until December 2025.

The ECC also sanctioned several Technical Supplementary Grants (TSGs) to support various development initiatives:
- PKR 250 million for ICT-based educational programs under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
- PKR 220 million to promote small and medium enterprise (SME) development through the Ministry of Industries & Production.
- PKR 670 million under the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme (SAP) for the ICT Administration.

Additionally, the committee reviewed inflation trends, noting a decline in key indicators such as the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and food inflation. Officials attributed this improvement to fiscal discipline, better supply chain management, and targeted subsidies.
