Islamabad: The National Assembly Employees Co-operative Housing Society (NAECHS) was asked by a sub-committee of the Senate Functional Committee on Government Assurances on Thursday to allot plots to its members as soon as possible, a news source reported. The parliamentary panel stressed action against those who were denying these employees their rights.

Employees have been waiting for their allotments for years, so the committee took urgent notice of the matter and promised ‘to leave no stone unturned to resolve the matter’. The management of the NAECHS was asked to provide the committee the complete detailed list of employees who had to receive plots within the next two days so work can begin on resolving the issue soon.

Jinnah Gardens and Federal Employees Cooperative Housing Society (FECHS) were also questioned by the committee about their commitment to allot 101 plots in 60 days. Management of Jinnah Gardens assured members that they would fulfil their commitment in the next 15 days.
