Lahore: To make the property taxation system transparent, Punjab Excise Department, in collaboration with National Bank of Pakistan has introduced an E-Reporting System, reported a news source. A ceremony in this regard was held in Avari Hotel, which was presided over by Punjab Excise Minister Mumtaz Ahmed and attended by Excise DC Akram Ashraf Gondal and other important officials.
Speaking at the occasion, Gondal said that the E-Reporting System will allow monitoring of excise officers and it will also keep citizens from having to get their tax chalan reissued. The system will also give updates on the money collected in terms of property tax on a daily basis.
