Lahore: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has suggesting setting up an e-portal to facilitate companies, a news source reported. LCCI President Almas Haider said the companies concerned would be able to submit their applications online.
He said the proposed e-portal should be integrated with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Land Record Management Information System (LRMIS), and NADRA database for verification.
The portal should also allow online banking, credit, debit cards, mobile banking, and other electronic transfers for fee submission. After submission of verified safety inspection report, demand notice should be generated through the portal.
The Punjab Government is already working on plans to establish Arazi Centres in remote areas to facilitate the masses. The centres will be connected to the land record information management system, overseen by the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), providing ease of access to the public regarding land revenue and property registration.
