Karachi: Sindh Excise and Taxation (E&T) department has launched an online tax deposit facility to facilitate property, professional and vehicle tax payments, reported the news sources.
On the occasion, Sindh E&T Minister Mukesh Chawla encouraged the property, professional, and vehicle tax defaulters to pay their taxes by the end of the current fiscal year (FY 2020-21).

The minister also said that the property E-challans have been issued and if it is not received by anyone, they can contact their respective district excise and taxation offices. Businesses can also register themselves by visiting the www.excise.gos.pk

While talking to the excise and taxation officers, Minister Chawla directed them to expedite the tax collection to meet yearly targets. He also suggested using all relevant and available advertisement channels to reach taxpayers to urge them to pay their taxes on time.
Furthermore, he added that to avoid any unpleasant situation, people should pay their taxes using the online facility. The officers were also ordered to cooperate with the taxpayers and facilitate them as and when required.
