Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has expedited its drive to recover installment and development charge dues from the FDA City plot owners concerned, a news source reported. The drive was launched earlier this month to help improve the development authority’s financial situation.

The FDA management has directed these individuals to submit their plot instalments, development charges and other dues on an immediate basis. In case of non-compliance, the authority will cancel the plot allotments. In this regard, the FDA Director General (DG) Muhammad Sohail Khawaja has directed the officials concerned to send final notices to the plot owners.

The FDA DG has further directed the officials to prepare plot allotment cases against owners who have failed to clear their dues by the deadline communicated. DG Khawaja stated that the FDA had informed the plot owners through a publication shared in local newspapers of their dues-paying obligation.
