Karachi: Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar said that the local government representatives are working to clean the open drains in the city, as per a news source.
Akhtar visited Akhtar Colony, Rehman Colony and various other societies and was accompanied by District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Chairman Moeed Anwar, Municipal Services Senior Director Nauman Arshad and Director Musheer Ahmed, among various other dignitaries. He highlighted that the drain cleaning work is being done in a way that hasn’t ever been done before and that all action necessary would be taken against negligent contractors.
