Karachi: The management of Dolmen Mall Clifton on Friday announced its decision to reduce its minimum license fee for restaurants and fast-food chains operating on the premises, a news source reported. Furthermore, the retail tenants of the mall will also receive a waiver of 15% on their rentals for September.

In order to provide post-coronavirus relief to global and local food outlets operating in the food courts, outskirts, and executive centre of Dolmen Mall Clifton, the management has decided to provide a discount in the minimum license fee. However, the notification issued did not mention the exact amount of relief provided.
Furthermore, the board of directors have decided to waive off 15% rentals for September for the tenants operating retail outlets within the mall. As per the details available, this waiver does not apply to tenants offering essential services like food, banks, supermarkets, etc.

In a statement, the mall’s management stated that it would continue to engage with the tenants, and keep a close watch on the coronavirus situation for businesses operating on the premises.
