Karachi: The management of Dolmen Mall, Clifton has provided a 100% rent exemption till May 15 to all its stores and retail outlets, a news source reported. This provision further applies to sales centres and restaurants located within the project’s precincts — but not banks and supermarkets providing essential services.

The mall’s management has also offered a rental waiver of 50% to its tenants at ‘The Harbour Front’ for the month of May. According to details, Dolmen City REIT has announced the decision to be in compliance with the Sindh government’s directives in regards to COVID-19.
In a notification issued, the management revealed that the mall would continue with tenant engagement and keep monitoring the prevailing pandemic situation in the country to giving an extension in the said dates if required by the provincial government.

This exemption from rent is aimed at providing relief to the tenants and cushioning their businesses in the mall amid the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.
