Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s operation against illegal buildings in Sector E-11 continues, where 10 more unapproved buildings were sealed on Thursday, according to a news source.
In this operation, the CDA staff sealed Meridian Heights, Mustafa Tower, Tooba Heights I & II, Prime Heights, Qartaba Heights, Awan Arcade, Apollo Heights, Islamabad Heights and two blocks of Islamabad Residencia.
The CDA Chairman and Mayor Islamabad Sheikh Anser Aziz also instructed the concerned staff to expand the drive in the city’s suburbs to bring construction activity under a legal setup and enhance the aesthetics of Islamabad.
He also said that it is the first time a drive of this scale has been launched against illegal buildings in Islamabad. The main purpose of this operation was to implement the city’s master plan in its true essence, he added.
