Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has directed the officials concerned to finalise master plans with regard to the development of their respective districts, a news source reported.

He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with representatives of the district administrations on Monday.
He directed the officials to include facilities missing in their respective districts in the master plans. The executive will use these planning guides for appropriate allocation of resources.
CM Khan said that the government is dedicated to strengthening the district administrations; adding that it is important to hold regular meetings at the tehsil level for this purpose. He stated that that town halls will be able to identify the public’s grievances at grass-roots level.
The CM also revealed that periodic performance reviews of commissioners and deputy commissioners will help ensure their accountability, and that negligent officers will face action as per law.

He directed the deputy commissioners of the newly-merged tribal districts to increase their interaction with the public. Moreover, he instructed the district administrations concerned to hold at least one town hall meeting every month. He added that those officers failing to do so will face strict action.
